The Incompetency of Our Medical System Let's be honest... The current state of our medical system is an absolute mess. Many people have been helped, saved and brought back to health while countless others have been misdiagnosed, turned away, had conditions worsen or even die. That doesn't instill much faith in people and is a sure sign that there needs to be some changes. We are constantly having pills pushed upon us. Some contraindicated to other maladies that we may have, some unbeknownst to all parties which break down the body even more and there is a lack of understanding as to the true long term or even short term side effects. There are some archaic and barbaric therapies that are used as a "cure" in which they hope the treatment is more toxic to the virus/disease than it is to us. Wait times for appointments, specialists or imaging can take a tremendous amount of time (at least in Canada) with some people having dire consequences. I remember one time while in emergency where a gentleman was just in a motorcycle accident, was quite banged up and his leg was purple having him wondering about his veins. This gentleman, myself and several others were all told that imaging was closed until the next day at 8am and we had to come back then... this was at 10pm... in emergency. In some countries you can expedite things very quickly... if you have the money. If the state of one's health is dependent on or can be accelerated by having more money then it clearly shows how imbalanced things are and where we stand as a species at this time. There are times when very important life altering decisions hang in the balance of one person's opinion. Great... now you just lost that job, didn't get that treatment or further testing was deemed unnecessary... or much worse. Unbelievable! Second opinions are very important, are often way too late or do not happen at all. I have personally been shutdown before, completely halting my process. This individual strongly implied that it was "all in my head" and no further work up was required. Of course things continued to get worse and serious anomalies were eventually found... due to my own diligence and persistence. Even some of those were dismissed or testing stopped because it wasn’t quite serious enough or they didn’t know what it was. This system is supposed to be about prevention… not waiting until something of ill consequence occurs and then possibly doing something about it. It is very easy to slip through the cracks or get swept under the rug so to speak when you are a harder to diagnose patient and do not fit into classic case etiology. Even if you do... what if you are unable to work even a part-time job? Not having adequate financial assistance while going through such circumstances is horrific and further undermines any semblance of regaining one's health. Here is a question... What does "within normal range" really mean? In bloodwork these should be looked at as sign posts. If it is right on the border of ‘High’ or ‘Low’ but doesn't have the 'H' or 'L' beside it then it should not be ignored. There might be a story there, especially when looked at in conjunction with other things in "normal range". Some things do change quickly while others do not. An example, for men in particular, is testoserone. It apparently "declines" with age but it has a huge "normal range" with no delineation relating to age groups. You can have people walking around with 4x the amount of free testoserone available in their system compared to another and yet they are both still within "normal range". A 25 year old can have the testoserone level of a dilapidated 80 year old but since he is still within the low spectrum of "normal range" he is deemed fine. There are other factors in this apparent decline as well. How about pain? Perfect... we have a pill for that... and another other pill to minimize the effects of that first pill! Honestly, I have had doctors tell me to get injections in the back of my head and neck for pain... and when countering with the question, "wouldn't it be prudent to get some sort of imaging of the area first to actually see what is going on?", the reply being, "it isn't necessary". What?! Seriously? Blocking pain might be the goal for some but it doesn't actually fix the problem. No currently prescribed pill is going to heal a herniated disc... infact, if you block the pain there is a chance that you may actually think you are doing better and then do something foolish... which causes more permanent damage. There are definitely some good doctors around. You also have many bad doctors, some who are outdated, some who are not furthering their education, some that don't listen and have no interest, which can be due to many reasons including being swamped with patients. There are also many well meaning doctors who do what they can to help but since were taught a certain way they can only work within the bounds of their own knowledge base, that of their superiors and in the confines of this limited system. If you are fortunate enough to get a doctor who thinks outside the box and/or is willing to listen to you and follow a logical path, especially when inconsistencies are brought to their attention, then you have hit the lottery. It is true that doctors have to deal with a bunch of "less than ideal" patients at times so one can understand their disposition under certain circumstances but it is not the new patient's fault. Customer service 101. Unfortunately, Doctors (General Practitioners) and specialists don't seem to communicate very well. Documents and reports sometimes do not get sent over or get lost in the mix. Important results often get overlooked or dismissed. Another thing is that Medical Doctors, Naturopaths and alternative healers (like Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, Osteopaths, etc) do not correspond with each other even though a number of things overlap. There is more than sufficient scientific evidence to back up the effectiveness of such practices including herbal remedies. Remember that the overall goal and bottom line is to get the patient better... not work at odds to one another! With all of the toxins and pollutants in our environment which includes the food we eat, the air we breathe, the water we drink, EMFs, our household products, parasites, mold, heavy metals, etc, it seems a little off that they don't have adequate screening for such things. I have had doctors straight up tell me that mold has no effect on us… that was after they read one article... meanwhile you have health and safety inspectors who look for and warn about the serious dangers of such things and even shut places down! The lack of knowledge about how the body truly works is astounding. Things like fascia, the lymphatic system, nerves and regeneration. What has been disseminated to us is literally just scratching the surface. We aren’t even getting into the emotional, mental and energetic counter parts which are largely dismissed. For those wanting to get better: There are many people who may be lacking in discipline, willpower, knowledge, or are just plain unable or even incapable of doing things. They may have been raised a certain way, programmed by society or even their doctor's words. Don't give up! Do some research... Do all that you can on your end to get the assistance that is needed to help get you better. Things like diet and nutrition which includes natural supplementation, eliminating smoking and alcohol, sleep (somewhat) and exercise are all things that are in your realm to control. Some issues definitely need intervention but do not give your power to a system that on many levels is doing more harm than good. We are already bombarded enough by the toxins in our environment. Hopefully the world will wake up enough to where the consciousness shifts and ushers in new modalities for health/healing and set free the one's that have been hidden or suppressed. May there be a marriage of science and spirit and a breaking down of the barriers and ego that have separated the two. There truly are cures to everything already out there and within. In the interim a message to the Medical Community --> Consider studying vibration and frequency as ways to heal and cure ailments. Everything has a specific frequency that can be identified and therefore neutralized or enhanced. Another thing would be to give people nutrients and supplementation to build the body up instead something to break it down. You are all powerful healers in your own right, Reclaim it!
